Originally developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1930’s, Pilates was originally designed to help dancers and athletes heal injuries through a range of mobilizing, stretching and strengthening techniques. The Pilates classes offered at myStudioParis aim to create muscle balance and build strength from within. Over 500 exercises are included in the Pilates repertoire. Exercises are performed on the floor in our Mat class or on four different machines: Reformer, Cadillac, Barrel and Chair in private or duo classes under the vigilant eye of a qualified teacher to ensure correct placement. |
